Some events are special because of the people who attend them. Others become unforgettable because of the energy that fills the room.

Mohamed Assaf's highly anticipated Windsor concert was one of those nights.

On September 10, 2026, the Palestinian Canadian Community Association (PCCA) brought renowned Palestinian singer Mohamed Assaf, the winner of Arab Idol, to Windsor, Ontario, for an extraordinary evening of music, culture, community and celebration.

The Ciociaro Club in Windsor, ON hosted the concert, uniting people through the influence of music and Palestinian culture. Throughout my years of photographing, documenting, and capturing a variety of people, moments, celebrations, events, and countries, this assignment was by far the one I am most proud of. Capturing this resilient young man, Mohamed Assaf and his lively, joyful audience is something I will never forget and remains one of my most cherished memories.

At Nile Photography, sponsoring, photographing, and decorating the event was our small contribution to a much larger story, yet it filled us with immense pride and joy.
